Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of KaBase (the “Service”).

1. Scope

These terms apply to all relationships between the Service provider (the “Company”) and users regarding use of the Service.

2. Registration

Registration is complete when an applicant applies via the method specified by the Company and the Company approves the application.

3. Account management

Users are responsible for managing their account credentials appropriately.

4. Fees and payment

Users shall pay the fees shown on the pricing page for paid portions of the Service, using the payment methods specified by the Company.

5. Confirmed applications, withdrawal, and cancellation

1. When your application is confirmed, we create your tenant and email you a sign-in invitation. You can start using the Service as soon as you follow the invitation.
2. You cannot withdraw or cancel your application after it is confirmed. We do not refund paid fees.
3. You can cancel anytime from “Manage billing & cancellation” on your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you can keep using the service until then. There is no cancellation fee, and we do not give prorated refunds.

6. Prohibited conduct

Users must not: violate laws or public order; infringe intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties; interfere with the operation of the Service; or attempt unauthorized access.

7. Suspension of the Service

The Company may suspend all or part of the Service without prior notice for maintenance, natural disasters, or other unavoidable reasons.

8. Disclaimer

1. The Company makes no express or implied warranty that the Service is free of defects. Features such as offline continuity depend on the device and network environment.
2. The Company does not keep copies of the data you register in the Service (including displayed content) and cannot restore that data if it is lost. Please keep the original files of the data you register yourself.

9. Changes to the Service

The Company may change, add, or discontinue features of the Service with prior notice to users.

10. Data after your subscription ends

1. When your subscription ends for any reason, the Company deletes the data you registered in the Service (including displayed content, layouts, device registrations, and other data in the admin console) after 90 days have passed from the date the subscription ended.
2. If you delete your account, the Company may delete the data described above without waiting for the period in the preceding paragraph.
3. The Company does not notify you before the deletions described above and does not provide a copy of the data to be deleted. Please save any data you need yourself before your subscription ends or before you delete your account.
4. Deleted data cannot be restored.
5. For the free plan, notwithstanding paragraph 1, the Company may delete the data without waiting for the period in that paragraph when the subscription ends. In addition, if the free plan has not been used for a certain period, the Company may, after notifying you in advance, restrict some features of the Service or end the subscription.

11. Changes to these terms

The Company may amend these terms. Amended terms take effect when posted on this page.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Company’s location.
